Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9548A
May I know what different between PCA9547(NXP) and PCA9548A(TI)? Does it P2P compatible? Could you share the comparison table? Thanks

Hi Gary,
The NXP and TI device are meant to be replaceable, they will perform the same function. They are also P2P compatible.
However we recommend upgrading TI's PCA9548A to TI's TCA9548A. All TCA devices are P2P replacements of their PCA counterparts. They have a wider operating voltage and the TCA9548A has corrected the reset errata. They also use newer processes which make them more cost effective.
I looked online but I was not able to find a comparison table, I'll reach out to my team and let you know if we find one.
Best,
Chris
Hi Gary,
So it doesn't look like we made a comparison table for this. Some quick differences between the PCA9547(NXP) and PCA9548A(TI)
The device address are the same: 1110A2A1A0
NXP device is a MUX, TI device is a switch
The lower limit for VCC is higher for the NXP device.
Best,
Chris
Hi Chris,
May I use PCA9548A to replace PCA9547?
What different between MUX and Switch?
