DS90LV028A: 3.3V single-ended input for DS90LV028A

Dear team,

My customer would like to use 3.3V single-ended input to feed in DS90LV028A input side.

Since DS90LV028A is differential LVDS input and SE output. Is there any risk about this application?

Can we use termination at device input side and implement this application?

Why not just use DS90LV027A + DS90LV028A?

It's current design in customer's schematic.

Hi Ben,

It's unorthodox but they can reference section 2 in this application note for interfacing single-ended signals with LVDS receivers: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slla101/slla101.pdf
