USB-CTM-MINIDK-EVM: Charging using 5V

Hi,

I tried to connect the tablet to the J28 input or the J29 input to charge it.
When there is a power connection at input J30 (USB-C from charger) via charger there is no charging of the tablet, and when the power connection at input J31 (DC Barrel Jack) then only at high voltages (above 10V) the tablet starts to charge.
Is it possible to charge the tablet only with a 5 volt input?

The 5V converter that provides power to the Type-C ports has a UVLO set to around 10V to 15V. Check page 8 of the Datasheet in the link below for5 more details.

The input power to the dock on the Type-C port is recommended to be 20V just as the same from the barrel jack input.

The system cannot support a 5V input on J30 to provide power to the rest of the Type-C ports. It must be connect to a PD adapter that negotiates a 20V contract on J30.
