SN75DP130: SN75DP130 EVM Layout File

Part Number: SN75DP130

hi,

we are connecting DP connector to SN75DP130 and then to an FPGA

two questions:

1) do we need to do POLARITY INVERSION between DP conn differential pair and SN75DP130 diff-pair input? or we can just connect DP p-lanes on SN75DP130 p-lanes?

2) do you confirm that we dont need AC capacitor at the input? then why you add AC decopling capacitor at the DP input of your reference kit?

could you please send me the schematic?

  • Luigi,

    1) You do not need to do POLARITY INVERSION from the DP connector to the SN75DP130.

    2) You do not need the AC caps on the input to SN75DP130, these caps should be on the transmitter side. If there you would double the capacitance from DP source TX => connector => SN75DP130

Please accept my friend request so that I can send you the SN75DP130 EVM ref schematic.
