SN65DSI83Q1-EVM: LVDS 1.8V to 3.3V (Level translator)

Good day

I am currently trying to connect a 3.3V LVDS TFT LCD Panel to the SN65DS183Q1-EVM board. The SN65DS183Q1-EVM is 1.8V LVDS level and the development board does not provide a level translator. Is this even possible? the level translators i found seems to be for 3.3V to 1.8V and not 1.8V to 3.3V, for example the SN65LVDS10x. Is this a common issue with LVDS or do I need to choose a different TFT LCD Panel with the SN65DS183Q1-EVM?

    Hi Hermi,

    Can you share the datasheet for the panel?

    For the LVDS level, you should reference the "LVDS OUTPUT" section of the table on page 8 of the datasheet, and check if the common-mode output voltage (there are two settings) and differential output voltage are compatible with your panel. I believe they will be.
