Dear Sir
I want to realize XIO2000A could support ASPM function or not. Because XIO2000 and XIO2001 Errata shows that these two parts do not not recommended to use ASPM function.
Thank you.

Hello James,
Yes, XIO2000A supports ASPM function. From XIO2000A to XIO2001 Change Document:
"There is a difference in the way the XIO2001 implements ASPM compared to the XIO2000A. On the XIO2000A the L1 state can only be entered if the receiver has detected entry into L0s. On the XIO2001 this dependency no longer exists, the XIO2001 will immediately send PM_Active_State_Request_L1 DLLP’s after determining that there are pending TLP’s or DLLP’s."

Aldo.
Hi Aldo
Thanks for your reply. My customer have some questions want to realize.
1. PCI device card will affect the ASPM function of XIO2000A or not ?
2. In the Windows if PCI device does not support ACPI functions, is it also affect XIO2000A ASPM function?
Best Regards
James
Hi James,
1. No, it won't affect.
2. Did you mean ACPI functions from the BIOS?
Anyways, I don't recommend the use of this device. Use XIO2001 instead, it is an improved device, better than XIO2000 and XIO2000A.
Regards,
Aldo
Hi Aldo
My customer has two questions
1. If other Downstream PCI does not affect the ASPM, is it proved that the ASPM of XIO2000A has problem? Because there is no other peripheral device could affect XIO2000A.
2. They want to know why TI does not recommend XIO2000A.
Thanks
Regards,
James
Hello James,
Is customer having issues with this device? If so, please describe the issue and the set up.
The XIO2000A is NRND because a new device (the XIO2001) has fixed all the erratas on the XIO2000A.
Regards.
Hello James,
You can review the changes done to the XIO2000A to become XIO2001 in the next link.
