Im looking for help, I need to develop a device that can comunicate ( ethernet ip CIP) with a PLC, only need send the status of 8 inputs and 8 outputs no more, if someone help me to start de investigation. I found the TIDEP0003 development kit, but there are a "world" of information I dont know how to begin. I m a mid range user of a microchip microcontroller but they dont have a CIP layer to comunicate with industrial protocol.
