LMH1218 testing with TIDA-00428 equipment used

Hi Team,

I'm interested in understanding the test equipment used to evaluate and generate the test data included the tidubu6a.pdf report on this reference design.  In particular, what specific equipment (make and model) was used to generate the waveforms and evaluate the eye patterns?

    Hi Steve,

    These signals can be generated and evaluated with a high-speed BERT and high-speed sampling scope. For the PRBS generator, we typically use an Agilent N4903A (currently replaced on vendor website by Keysight N4903B). For the scope, we typically use an Agilent DCAJ 86100C with a 50-GHz plug-in module and a precision timebase plug-in module that goes up to 15 GHz. These are the waveforms shown in the black and white diagrams. The eye diagram in color was taken with an Agilent Infiniium DCA-X 86100D.
