SN65MLVD200A multidrop connection issue

Hi,

My customer reports a communication problem with a 3-node RS485 multidrop connection using the SN65MLVD200A.

Based on their failure report I concluded that the line terminations are not in order and also the termination resistor values to not match the line impedance.

I would like an apps engineer to have a look at the report and schematic but would like to that off line due to confidentionality reasons.

Can an apps engineer contact me directly?

  Hi Jan,

  Have you been contacted by an apps engineer?

  The MLVD200A is not an RS485 device so it is quite possible that there could be some inter-op limitations.
