Dear all,

Who knows which IC can provide LVDS to VGA function?

LVDS (single channel or dual channels, not TTL 18 or 24 bits format) to VGA (RGBHV format)

Thanks.

  • Hi Joseph,

I believe we have a 2 device solution for this. I'll do a bit of research and provide suggestions soon.

    Hello Joseph,

The DS90CF386 FPD LVDS Receiver could do the LVDS to RGB Data conversion followed by a video DAC like the THS8200 for the RGB Data to VGA.

    Hi Jeffery,

This solution converts LVCMOS data, it's not RGBHV format.

    Do you have other suggestion?

  • In reply to Joseph Yang:

    Hi Joseph,

I believe that the DS90CF386 converts 4 LVDS data to LVCMOS RGB data plus H and V (3 x 8 bits plus H and V) and the THS8200 that follows converts the LVCMOS 24 bits plus H and V to analog RGB with sync inserted on the analog RGB output (all or G only) and H and V logic level outputs. If this doesn't do what you need then I don't think we have a solution for you. I will however ask the FPD Link folks if they have anything to suggest.
