TPS2052B: Current limit value and value asserted OC pin

Hi,

My customer is evaluating the TPS2052B.

When the current is increased gradually, though OC pin is asserted, current limit doesn't work .

So the current value which the OC pin is asserted is different from current limit value.

However it is mentioned follows on the datasheet.

Is this correct behavior?

Hi Kuramochi-san,
Maybe device internal have thermal protection.
Pls. double check.

Overtemperature shut down doesn't work.
Does it mean that temperature which /OC is asserted different from shutdown temperature?

Hi kuramochi-san,

The pin /OC assert only at over temperature and over current condition, you mention when device /OC assert but haven't see any current limit behavior. Could you help to doulbe check whether current have be limited in the minimum value ? If possible any waveform for OC and Iout , Vin, Vout check is convenience for analysis .
