TPD5S115: TPD5S115

Part Number: TPD5S115

Dear Sir,

There is a customer project using TI’s TPD5S115YFFR HDMI level translator and we have a question about it.

As input 5V to the VBAT pin, the output voltage VOUT is inside what defined in datasheet: [4.9V, 5.13V]

But as changing the input voltage to about 5.5V, which is also in the range of [2.3, 5.5], we found the measured Vout is around 5.5, which is over the value defined in datasheet.

Although there is figure 6 to show the curve between VOUT and VBAT, it cannot tell what output voltage should be.

And according to the figure, the output voltage would higher than 5.13V if the input voltage is about 5.3V.

This is also a confusing part that the result is contradicted to specification.

Could you help to clarify it?

Thanks, Ian.
