Hi guys,
I am considering getting an Eval Module for the TPS2549-Q1 device for USB charging.
Does anyone know if that part will charge a Samsung device like an S7 phone at full speed so it says "Fast Charging" on the display please?
The TI part we prototyped with only covers Apple parts (2.0v or 2.7v on the data lines) and we have suddenly hit this wall when we are ready to run off 1k units.
We are only interested in DCP mode.
Is there anyone at TI that could possibly plug a Samsung device into a TPS2549Q1EVM-729 Eval board and let me know if it shows "Fast Charging" on the display.
If it doesn't is there a TI part that does please? We have prototyped perfectly using TI parts and don't want to switch to Microchip!
