As shown in title, why Type C OVP didn't cover RX1/2- and TX1/2-
It seems like TPD8S300 just cover CC and SBU pin.

Hi Shaq,
This is correct. The TPD8s300 protects the SBUx and CCx pins from Short to VBUS. Protecting the RX and TX pins is a two-chip solution. Please go here and check out which high-speed protection products might work best for your system: www.ti.com/.../overview.html.
