SN65HVD11: about SN65HVD11 lightening test

hi dear supporting team,

customer is using below circuit for doing lightening test  on SN65HVD11, the connection is thunder protector --->20 Ohm resistor ---> SN65HVD11, the standard is 3KA,  and they will get below residual voltage between the 20Ohm resistor and HVD11, test at single side. the peak voltage is 15V, and last for 40us.  is is ok for our chip? tks a lot!

DRY_NODE_IN1+/DRY_NODE_IN2+ is the interface to external.

    The abs max of bus pins are -9V to 14V. I think it should be low risk for HVD11. If you really want to play it safe, you can use a higher rating TVS diode to bring the voltage between 12V and 14V. Please let us know if you have more questions.
