MAX3232E: Power dissipation to understand case temp

How can we figure out the power dissipation of the MAX3232E in order to figure out top of case temperature. I see we give a theta JCtop spec in the datasheet, but calculating power dissipation is not clear. My customer is using the device in the following manner:

Supply voltage : 3.3V
Maximum data rate : 115200
Number of channels used : 1 (CH1 only - 1TX and 1RX)

That's a good question; sometimes a power calculation for these parts isn't straightforward from the datasheet. Let us take a deeper look at this and we'll get back to you early next week.
