UCC21520-Q1: Shoot though prevention

I am going to use this driver as a Half bridge driver and would like to prevent shoot through occurence.

What happens if I make INA and INB high at the same time for more than 1us with Dead time is configured for 1us?

    Hi Rajesh,

    Thanks for your interest in the UCC21520-Q1. When the deadtime is configured the device will prevent shoot through in all cases. So if INA and INB are both high, both OUTA and OUTB will be low. This is the same as 'Condition E' shown on figure 35 of the datasheet (page 24).
