Hello,

Looking for AEC-Q100 certified I2C bus extender to use 5M cable.

Can TCA9517-Q1 extend I2C bus to 5M length?

Or could you recommend other AEC-Q100 certified extender?

    It depends on the cable you are using. With cat5 cable, the parasitic capacitance is about 50pF/m. At 5 meters we can expect 250pF of capacitance. TCA9517 can support up to 400pF of capacitance so this can work.

    Please note that you will need to be sure the B sides of the TCA9517 cannot be connected to each other.
