TCA9534: TCA9534 with ESP32 wroom

Hello TI Engineers,

I have a service request which customer use extender TCA9534 with Arduino uno through this library.

It seems to work with Arduino well but not working properly with ESP32 wroom.The customer wants to know the differences and he is asking me to find an ESP library.

As far as I know, ESP has a compatibility with Arduino library and I haven't seen a specific ESP library. I suggest him to follow the steps in this link but still not working.

Hello Ahmed,

I am unfamillar with ESP32.

Are you trying to communicate with the ESP32 using I2C?
How exactly is the TCA9534 interfacing with this?

Do you have scope shots when it is "not working properly with ESP32 wroom"

It may be difficult for us to give support on this, as we focus on the analog side of our devices and if the issue is software based (coding) we may not be able to help as well on this.

Can we confirm our TCA9534 is atleast working correctly? Any waveform shots of communication? Are the GPIOs working properly?

All I know, the customer wants to communicate With ESP32 by using I2c and TCA9534 is working fine. He hasn't shared any outputs with me. I have contact him 4 days ago. However, he hasn't responded yet. So, I guess you can close this case.
