Hi Team,

There is no TX_ER pin.

In the case of MII, is it OK to disconnect the TX_ER signal from the MAC?

Or do I need to connect to a pin somewhere?

What I care about conforms to the IEEE 802.3az standard?

Hello Kenji,

For 802.3az, TX_ER signal can be routed to GPIO or INT pin via 0x04D0 register. This is recorded in datasheet section 8.3.1.2. We also have a DP83822 EEE application note: www.ti.com/.../snla265.pdf
