DS92LV2421: The picture's marked side can transmit how much data?

Part Number: DS92LV2421
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV3241, DS32EL0421

Deas:

We are promoting the Solution to our LED WALL customer, and we have 2 issues about it:

1. From datasheet I can see below information and could it compute it?  Since customer want to know the picture's marked side can transmit how many data.

7.1 Overview
The DS92LV242x chipset transmits and receives 24 bits of data and 3 control signals over a single serial CML pair operating at 280 Mbps to 2.1 Gbps.

2. Is there any other solution to promote the clock is higher than 75MHz?

  • Hi Luck,

Would you be able to share a block diagram of their system with me at i-anyiam@ti.com? We have been studying how our parts can be used in LED wall systems and where they typically fit.

Also, what frequency is the customer targeting? Another option is the DS92LV3241, which has 32 bits of data and 85 MHz clock.

If they are able to use serialized LVDS lanes as the input, we also have the DS32EL0421, which has 20 bits of data and a 312.5 MHz clock.

    Regards,
    I.K.
