    Anthony,

    Generally ASIL rating is more for system-level specification, but it is also possible get an individual device approved for ASIL. That being said, none of the CAN transceivers in our portfolio are rated for ASIL. What we can provide is the FIT rate estimation, which is the failure rate of the device helping determine the reliability for a safety-rated system.
