Our customer is making their schematic with HD3SS460. However, customer would like to clarify CSBU/SBU pins implementation. Customer’s system is supporting not only USB3.0 device ( example, USB HDD) but also DP source. In this case, they’d like to know how they should implement those pins.
According to ‘VESA DisplayPort Alt Mode on USB Type-C Standard’ Figure 3-1 and Table 4-3, this one recommends those pins should do the following implementation
Regarding HD3SS460 device, Is there any concern for this implementation ?
I really appreciate if you will be able to share your advice/comments on this.
