As a countermeasure against ESD of USB2.0,
TPD4S012 is laying out in the immediate vicinity of the USB connector.
In the impulse test (IEC 61000-4-4), a problem occurs in the USB function at around 0.4vK.
※ESD is applied in the middle of the cable from the USB device
(USB data line (D +) goes Low and communication is interrupted)
Impulse testing environment
Equipment used : Impulse noise simulator (INS-4040 / Noise Research Institute)
Applied voltage : plus or minus, variable
Pulse width : 1us
Repetition period : 20 ms
Application time : 20 seconds per set applied voltage
It is unknown whether the data sheet of TPD4S012 corresponds to IEC61000-4-4.
