Hi Team,

My customer is using DP83867ISRGZT in one of the design in RGMII mode as MAC interface.

They are providing 3.3V as the VDDIO voltage. Can you please specify is there way to operate the .

Can you please specify is there way to operate the RGMII interface for 2.5V I/O capability.

Hi Shinu,

The datasheet clearly stated it supports 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.8V VDDIO.

Please refer to the datasheet for more details.

My question is if the device is operating at 3.3VDDIO and want RGMII interface with 2.5V I/O capability.
Is there any settings to get 2.5V I/O while device operating @3.3VDDIO.

There is no setting to operate with 2.5V RGMII while the device runs off 3.3V VDDIO.

Hi Hung,

Thanks for the inputs.

Is there a way to keep the RGMII interface to the MAC in high impedance state or driving low (especially the RX_CLK, RX_D0-3 and RX_CTRL), when not in use.

What will be the state of these pins during reset to the device?

Can Bit7 of address 0x0032 (RGMIICTL) be reset, to achieve the below?

Hi Shinu,

You can set register 0x0, bit 10 to isolate the port from RGMII interface. That bit will put RGMII output pins in high impedance state.

You can also power down the PHY when not in use. Power down is controlled by register 0x0, bit 11.
