My customer used below solution to protect their usb interface. their main product is HMI. but recently, they continue to receive some failure reports when their end customer hot swap the usb [HMI connect to PC of their end customer ] . When they analyzed the return board, they found the TVS was broken down. I want to recommend TPD4S012 following TI ref design, but I'm not sure if this could help them solve the problem . please kindly give some suggestions. thanks.
