TPS65986: Ability to configure GPIO as edge-trigger input with interrupt to Host?

Part Number: TPS65986

I have a quick question about GPIO events for TPS65986.  We were wanting to use one of the TPS65986's GPIOs as an input and have it generate an interrupt to the host SOC on an edge trigger.  Is anything like that possible?

Looking at the existing GPIO events & interrupt masks, I don't see anything like that.  Seems like the best we could do is configure it as an input and occasionally poll the GPIO state.  Wanted to check to be sure.  If there is a way to configure for interrupt driven by an edge-trigger on GPIO, please let me know how.  Thank you.

  • Hi Eric S.,

Unfortunately, the TPS65986 does not support this type of input GPIO. I would suggest having this particular GPIO signal go directly to their host SOC.

    Thank you,
    Eric
