Evn if MSP430 output controls /RESET of TCA9539, connecting pull-up to VCC with 10K is recommended?

Hello,

The pull-up only helps bias the RESET input to a high level when the MCU output is not active, and it is not required for operation here.

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

I would break the connection from MCU to TCA 9539, and just leave the RESET pulled up to VCC as is.
