Some RS232 series have Auto-Powerdown.

It is recognition that data can not be received during Auto-Powerdown.

If this is correct, how can I make data ready to receive ?

Should I disable Auto-Powerdown ?

Koji,

If there is no valid RS-232 signal on the receiver input, the driver output is disabled (the device enters the auto powerdown mode). During auto powerdown mode, if a valid RS-232 signal shows up on the receiver input, the device is activated again. I hope it makes sense to you.
