After reading similar posts I have concerns regarding using I2S pins as GPIO.
In application note http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla234/snla234.pdf there is "1.2 Option 1: Enabling GPIO8, GPIO7, GPIO6 for Control Signals from the DS90UB925 to
DS90UB926 Direction" and it works fine. But in datasheets of serialiser and deserialiser those pins are defined only as local GPO or I2S interface
So is it correct to use those pins as GPIO like described in application note?
