TPS65981EVM: How to use TPS65981EVM as a Load

Dear TI friends

, I'm studying module TPS65981EVM  and have a question need you help.

I have:

+ one  TEA1936XDB1475: Multi Standard 27W Mobile Charging

+ and one TPS65981EVM USB Type-C™ and USB PD controller

I want to use TPS65981EVM like a Load for test output  voltage of TEA1936XDB1475, but I don't know how to connect them.

As I know TEA1936XDB1475 has some lever output: 5V, 3A or 9V, 3A or 12V, 2.25A ...... output voltage depend on IC Type output TEA19051.

And When I use TPS65981EVM as a Load, I don't know how to connect.

Please help to guide me connect them, after that I can test all level output of TEA1936XDB1475

    Hello Cao,

    You would connect a Type-C cable between the two devices, and have the TPS65981 configured as a sink. You can control the configuration using the application configuration GUI. The following app note should help you get started.

    You can connect a load on the VBUS test point on the TPS65981EVM once a contract has been negotiated between the two devices, and the TEA1936XDB1475 is supplying voltage to the TPS65981EVM
