I am facing a design and I have a doubt related the reading/writing values from portX of the TCA9539.
Can I mix input and output signals in the same port of the TCA9539? I meant, use P0.7 as input and P0.2 as output (for example). If possible, how to handle it? I guess It would be as simple as write the same value in input ports when writing outputs, or how shall it be done, if it is possible?
We are going to control the TCA9539 from a uC in baremetal.
