DSLVDS1047: EMI protection suggestion

Hi,

This is the first time my customer use DSLVDS1047 and DSLVDS1048 . they used a 1 meter class 5 twisted pair to connect these two. but still worry about the communication may be disturbed. want to know if a coil is needed to get better EMI perfomance. please kindly give your suggestion . thanks.

It depends on the source of the EMI in their design. For example, if there is a common mode issue such as using an unbalanced cable between the serializer and the deserializer, they should add CM chokes the TX and RX sides to filter out common mode radiation.

1.They used class 5 twisted pair cable and just 1 meter long,Can I think the CM chokes is less necessary in this case ?

2. both TX and RX sides need to add ?

BTW, Do we have a related ref design to show how to do the EMI protection of these kinds of high speed communication line?
