Dear Sir,

MY customer complained the CL2 value will cause their system function fail!

In datasheet, the typ. value of CL2 is 1.05pF, but it is not a fixed value and did not provide the min. and max. range!

My customer found IC with marking code of DUH will failed but the DUL marking code IC is OK.

They think the DUH marked code IC are out of spec.

Please help to provide the information.

Hello,

To get a lower capacitance spec they should use the configuration CL1 which is pin 2-4 and pin 5 to 1.

There should not be a difference in spec from device marking

Hi Sir,

I just got confused!!

As in datasheet, CL1 and CL2 are pin2 to pin5 and pin1 to pin4! That is different with what you said!

Could you help to check?

Hello,

CL1 is if you use pin 2 and 5 as the signal line and pin 1 and 4 as the GND of the ESD diode. In this configuration the capacitance will be lower than if you use pin 1 and 4 as the signal lines and pin 2 and 5 as the ground lines.
