Hi,

I need to find a solution to retime a 100G ethernet signal and it looks like the DS280DF810 is a good candidate.

We would like to test the retimers on the DS280DF810EVM with QSFP connectors, however the only interface available in this board is the Huber-Suhner cable assembly. So I was considering the DS280BR810 reference design card, which has 2 QSFP connectors, but you don’t have it available for sale.

What would be the best option to setup this test?

Hi,

Your options would be the following:

Work with a CM to build a DS280xx810 QSFP28 reference design board using TI's PCB layout and output files downloadable via TI.com. This board can be populated with DS280DF810 retimer devices which you'd order from TI
Purchase two QSFP28 module compliance boards from a vendor like Multilane. You may then use these module compliance boards to set up optical or copper cable link tests with the TI retimer EVM board
