DS25CP104A: Input Swapping

Hello team,

My customer would like to know if DS25CP104A can be used same way when positive and negative input are swapped. He is planning to build system with common PCB pattern for both TX and RX. It makes positive and negative input swapped. My customer concerns if it causes data change or characteristic degradation.Could you please answer my customer's question?

Greeting Itoh-San,

I am assuming your customer is planning to swap polarity on both input AND output. Since we are swapping data polarity on both RX AND TX, we do not expect any degradation or other negative side effect.
