I read this on a forum:

We have a widows based tool used to configure the internal registers and to perform the OTP.
An attached EEPROM can't be accessed via USB through the hub, please provide an email address.

Can you also explain why it says this on the front page of the datasheet:
"Supports On-Board and In-System OTP/EEPROM Programming Via the USB2.0 Upstream Port"
when the answer above says it can't be done?
