Part Number: DS90UB914A-CXEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB964-Q1EVM

Hello to all, i'm Giuseppe from Italy.

I would love to know if there's an evaluation board or something similar with which is possible to connect the output of DS90UB914A-CXEVM and made a VGA or HDMI output to show the video stream, i need to develop very fast a test bench.

Thank you.

  • Hello Giuseppe,

Unfortunately we do not have such a solution internally. You may be able to work with one of our third party partners like D3 Engineering or Leopard Imaging to develop such a solution.

    Best Regards,

    Casey

  • Thank you for your fast reply, however i contacted even D3D engineering for this product : "DesignCore® TDA3x Automotive Starter Kit"  and even Leopard Imaging amd i had no replies, furthermore i wanted to buy the D3D Engineering product in anyway, but for international sell it's needed to contatct the sales support that doesn't reply, all that seems like a nightmare.

It's possible to use the DS90UB964-Q1EVM to connect to serializer and to use some other EVB that converts the MIPI - CSI2 to a video stream (HDMI- or VGA or others)?

IT'snt possible to use the FPD23DAEVM board to convert the signals form the deserializer board?

There are some other solutions (of all tyoes-9 for my question?

Thank you so much for your time, i'm in very big troubles about that problem

  • Hello Giuseppe,

FPD23DAEVM is not compatible with the 914A or 964. Unfortunately we do not have any off the shelf solution for this type of conversion or for MIPI CSI-2 to HDMI (which typically requires custom SW development in order to create a display pipeline which is specific to the video dimensions of each imager).

The closest we can offer for an off the shelf solution would be from D3, Leopard, or Spectrum Digital

    Best Regards,

    Casey
