DS90LV804: Pull-Up & Pull-Down Requirements

Hello,

I have 2 separate questions regarding pull-up/down resistors for the DS90LV804.

1. Is the Enable pin active high? If so, does it require a pull-up resistor?

2. Are fail-safe resistors necessary for the LVDS inputs? What are the risks of not including them?

Hi Zachary,

1). Enable is active high. You can use a pull up resistor or drive this pin through a logic.

2). Fail safe circuitry prevents output chattering when inputs are not being driven AND enable pin is active.
