SN65DPHY440SS: Using for clocks slower than 100MHz

Part Number: SN65DPHY440SS

Hello,

my question is in some ways similar to this thread:

We have a CMOS imaging sensor with dual MIPI lines plus clock. The sensor connects to the uC via 1m cable and we sometimes see noise on pixel output or data loss. I would like to try SN65DPHY440SS as MIPI buffer on the uC end and see if it helps with these issues.

However our clock is 75MHz while the datasheet of SN65DPHY440SS says the minimum is 100MHz. Do you know if it has been tested for <100MHz and what would be the possible issues in doing so?

Thanks

Karl
