TUSB8042A: Receiver eye diagram minimum height/width?

Hi Sir,

My customer is planning to have below topology for USB Hub and I believe it is fine for cascade the Hub,

And may I know what is the hub hard request minimum receiver eye height/width for both upstream/downstream port,

Please help to advice.

    Hi Anne,

    Yes, it is acceptable to cascade the hubs.  The TUSB8042A is able to easily recover signalling that meet the USB specification far-end eye mask.  We do not spec a minimum receiver eye height / width.
