DP83848K: Working design not connecting to 100Mbps only 10Mbps

Hello, I am looking for a few pointer to resolve a speed connection issue.

This design is a working design but there are a few boards which worked at 100Mbps but now only work at 10Mbps.
I have looked the board over and found nothing damaged or missing.
What is the procedure to find out why this design has stopped working at 100Mbps?

    Hi Rob,

    Could you please expand more on the issues you are seeing? Are you able to see a link at 100Mbps? How many boards have you tested total and how many have failed?

    Hi Cecilia,

    These are boards which I am looking into for repairing and did work at 100Mbps but removed since they stopped working at 100Mbps and only work at 10Mbps currently.
    When these boards are powered and connected they seem to try to connect at 100Mbps, just by looking at the LEDs for reference.
    I am connecting to a computer which is telling me the connected speed but I need a better test setup for diagnosis.
    What I am asking is without specialized tools what would be a check list to help determine why these boards are not connecting at 100Mbps.

    Hi Rob,

    Have you tried using our USB2MDIO tool to read and write into the PHY's registers? There you can debug further by reading the registers and understanding the status of the PHY.
