Dear experts,

I got question of DP83849I from customer.

Can this device support TTC TS-1000 standard?

My customer wants to know whether TI's PHY can support that standard or not.

If it is not related with PHY IC topic, could you tell me? (Is it processor or MCU side problem?)

I'm not familiar with PHY related topics...

Hello Ryo,

The DP83849I does not support Fiber Ethernet or the 100Base-FX standard, so it would not support the TTC TS-1000 standard.

Hello Ryo,

I cannot find documentation that DP83849IF supports TTC TS-1000. Do you have an example of a PHY that supports the standard? The block diagram provided with the OAM sublayer MII makes me wonder if the standard required an intergrated MAC PHY?
