TPS65982: wrong bit position?

Hello,

While making a custom firmware binary for TPS65982 with TPS65981_2_6_7_8 Application Customization 6.1.1 tool, i found that the bit positions showed in this tool doesn't match the ones in "TPS65981, TPS65982, and TPS65986 Host Interface Technical Reference Manual" http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuan1a/slvuan1a.pdf .

For example :

As seen in the pictures Autonegotiate Variable Sink Enable and Autonegotiate Battery Sink Enable bit positions are swapped.

So the question is , which one to trust? And if the one in the tool is right is there a newer/updated version to the Technical Reference Manual ?

Hello Eriks,

I would use the GUI as reference. However, the host interface document posted online is the most up to date document .I will take this information to our team to see if we can get the HI document updated.

That would be great, because in the GUI there are extra options and settings that are not explained anywhere, it makes all this developing confusing .
