TS3USB30E: Device that could switch D+, D-, CC1, ID(pin for OTG setting) between 2 USB port

Hi,

we have usb switch for USB2.0 like TS3USB30E.

Now my customer need to upgrade the port to USB type C, but it's not a real typeC, they only add CC1 for PD handshaking, ID for OTG setting.

I wonder if we have such devices for signal switch? Or I can choose in the analog mux device?

What considerations need to be taken?

Hi Howard,

I am not clear on the application, is the customer not using the Type-C connector? How can they only have CC1 and no CC2 from the connector? What signals does the customer want to switch, CC?

From the above, I do not think TS3USB30E is right for this application.

They need to switch

D+, D-, CC1, CC2, ID totally 5 pins between 2 different typeC port.

Do we have such devices? Can we choose in the analog mux device?

HI Howard,

Could you give more details on the application? TS3USB30E or TS3USB221 can be used to mux D+ and D-. Analog mix can be used for CC1, CC2 & ID.
