SN65176B: communication abnormal when -40C and 40C temp test

Part Number: SN65176B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THVD1520

Dear expert,

My customer is using SN65176B to communicate between MCU and load is dimming box. Customer found when detach the dimming box, which means pin A and B is floating, the R pin will output a low logic level. The problem only appeared at no load and -40C&40C temp test.

It seems that there are some noise between A and B pin, so they'd like to know how much differential mode voltage between the AB pin will cause the R pin to output low level. What methods do they have to reduce the differential mode voltage at low and high temperature? Thanks for your support.
