Hi Team,

A customer's project needs a two-way io board to board transmission, about 1M speed. Customer would like to know can the differential drive be used like this?

Hi Annie,

I would not recommend shorting the driver input and receiver output together since the stub created and the additional loading from the driver/receiver can cause signal integrity issues.

May is know is there no other device that can be used, or can it be faster like the P82B96?

Customer would like to know if there are other recommended products?

The function is similar to P82B96, but the transmission speed is faster than P82B96. Customer transmitted signals less than 1M, and the transmission distance was about 2 meters.

Hi Annie,

Sorry for the delay. All of our MLVDS transceivers will be similar to the MLVD201 in regards to functionality. Namely, it is not recommended to connect the device as you illustrated in your original post.
