TCA9539: How to fix when unexpected input data

Part Number: TCA9539

Hi team,

My customer plan to use TCA9539 and the INT pin is not required. The INT pin is floating.

Could you tell me how to fix when unexpected input data is incoming?

Should the customer re-send the data some times or reset the device?

Regards,

Yoshi

  • Hello Yoshi-san,

"Could you tell me how to fix when unexpected input data is incoming?"

Can you provide more detail on what you mean by fix? Are you trying to mask the input or look for only rising/falling edges specifically?

"Should the customer re-send the data some times or reset the device?"

By resending data, you mean performing a write on the device to set the device as an output/input'? Resetting the device would cause all I/O pins to be Hi-Z inputs. I'm not sure what your goal is or what the particular problem you are trying to solve here without additional context of what the concern is.
