My customer would like to change below items,please review

1. Change U2826 power source from +V3.3A(standby power) to +V3.3S(normal power).

2. Check to stuff R3510 / R2962 220K ohm. (TUSB1002A datasheet recommended to stuff them)

3. Change EQ gain setting to ‘EQ SETTING#=9’
-> CHx_EQ1 = 0, CHx_EQ2 = F => EQ GAIN at 2.5Ghz / 5GHz = 7.3 / 11.9 (dB)

Schematic looks good, only one comment. TX1/2 should be AC coupled with 220nF and RX1/2 should be AC coupled with 330 nF. This is highly recommended when AC coupling a redriver to USB-C connector.

1) I use for USB3.0 Type A connector,the transmission speed is 5Gbps,TX1/TX2 should be AC coupled with 100nF,RX1 should be AC coupled with 100nF,RX2 should be AC coupled with 330nF,ok or not? please review.

2)R3510 and R2962 whether to install? please review

Hi,

1. For Type-A connector, please refer to Figure 18. Host Implementation Schematic in datasheet. AC cap values in this figure should be followed. RX (CONN -> TUSB1002A) 330 nF AC cap is optional but highly recommended.

2. These resistor are allowed but are optional. These resistors allow for AC coupling caps to discharge within 250 ms after USB device is removed from the USB connector.

I found some questions,TUSB1002A can recognize usb3.0 device but the speed can not upto usb3.0 5Gbps,only upto usb2.0 speed,so far I can not find the root cause,so please give me your suggestion.thanks and best regards.

Could you use a program like USBView to confirm the Bus speed that was negotiated? Please post a screenshot if possible.
