Hi Expert,

Generally, there is a magnetic in front of the RJ45 port. Could customer don't use this magnetic on their design? And what are the disadvantages if no add it?

    Hello Lenna,

    We need ac coupling and hence magnetic has to be present. Some customers uses magnetics outside RJ45 connector and some have magnetics integrated in the RJ45 connector itself. We are ok with both as long as we follow application circuit diagram in datasheet.
